Safely welcoming summer with a splash!

As a mother of four young children water safety is a top priority to me. Summer just seems to bring water safety to the forefront of my mind, but living in South Florida it’s always a concern. Drowning is the leading cause of injury-related death among children between 1 and 4 years old, and it’s the third leading cause of death among children in general.

I grew up around pools, canals, lakes and the ocean and I’ve known how to swim as long as I can remember. I have to admit though; my four kids aren’t as water savvy as I was. We live in an area without access to a pool, but I try to remind myself that is no excuse for lack of preparedness. Luckily my oldest three children have been going to swim classes annually at our local Little Swimmers, and I intend to put my one year old in classes this summer as well. This is one reason, among many, that I am so thrilled to announce my partnership with Little Swimmers.

I can say without a doubt there is no other business I’d rather be teaming up with. This summer at their Miccosukee Golf & Country Club location in Kendall I’ll be offering professional portrait packages to all students.
